The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is organising the inaugural Inter-subregional Economic Partnership Forum (ISEPF1), to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on 24–25 September 2026. ISEPF is an ADB-supported Track 1.5 platform that brings together government officials, policy-oriented think tanks, the private sector, and development experts to identify practical solutions for regional cooperation and integration challenges. The forum aims to facilitate policy dialogue, generate evidence-based recommendations, and identify concrete cooperation initiatives across Asia and the Pacific.
ISEPF1 will be convened under the theme “Resilience through Cooperation” and will focus on (i) disaster risk management and resilience, (ii) trade logistics corridors, supply chains management and disaster resilience, and (iii) sustainable and resilient tourism corridors. The forum is expected to generate practical, coalition-driven initiatives and an action-oriented outcome document to guide future cooperation and programming. The Institute of Policy Studies of Sri Lanka (IPS) provides logistical, coordination, facilitation, communications, and knowledge-sharing support services for the successful organisation and implementation of ISEPF1 and related dissemination activities in Sri Lanka.
