This study aims to facilitate the formulation of a Strategic Plan and Roadmap (SP&RM) for Sri Lanka’s coconut sector. It will outline actionable initiatives for both public and private sector coconut industry stakeholders in Sri Lanka, including, the Coconut Development Authority (CDA), Coconut Research Institute (CRI), Coconut Cultivation Board (CCB), other public and private institutions, associations, and the Ceylon Chamber of Coconut Industries (CCIs). Further, the study will evaluate the theories of change, vision, mission, and short-term and long-term objectives of the organisations mentioned above, alongside the coconut policy landscape in Sri Lanka. The SP&RM will drive forward initiatives to benefit stakeholders and advance the coconut sector as a whole.
