Thematic Area: Policy Efficiency and Competitiveness
The Executive Opinion Survey is a major component of the World Economic Forum publications and is a key factor in measuring national economic environments. The survey findings provide insights on managing economic risk, innovation ecosystem, industrial policy, green transition, and infrastructure and tourism. The indicators derived from the survey are used to calculate the Future of Growth Index, as well as several other World Economic Forum indices.
Since 2012, the Institute of Policy Studies of Sri Lanka has served as the local partner for this project, contributing its expertise in policy analysis and facilitating the annual Executive Opinion Survey that supports the development of these indices.
