The 4th China-South Asia Think Tank Forum – Kunming, China

IPS Executive Director, Dr. Saman Kelegama participated in the 4^th China-South Asia Think Tank Forum in Kunming, China during 12-13 June 2016.

The Forum was organized by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the People’s Government of Yunnan Province with a lead role played by the Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences. The theme of this year’s Forum was “Building of Economic Corridors and International Cooperation in Production Capacity” and the Forum sessions were based on it.

Dr. Kelegama delivered a Keynote Speech on “Exploring Opportunities and Channelings in Economic Corridors and along  the One Belt One Road Initiative in Asia” and Chaired a Session on “Building of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor: Priority Sectors, Challenges, and Policy Recommendations for Cooperation in Production Capacity”.
