Ensuring availability, access and utilization of food commodities such as rice, milk products and fish are important for the food security of Sri Lankans. Understanding factors affecting demand and supply of these commodities and associated value chains are critical for designing appropriate policies. Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) of Sri Lanka, the 3 year project looks at demand, supply and value chains of rice, dairy products and fish and is also connected to food security.
