Within the context of the International Trade Centre’s SheTrades in the Commonwealth project, funded by the Government of the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development, SheTrades Outlook is an innovative policy tool to assess, monitor, and improve how the institutional ecosystem supports women’s participation in international trade. The Outlook is a comprehensive tool that provides quantifiable, measurable, and comparable indicators across countries related to both trade and gender. It promotes cooperation at all levels to share knowledge, compare experiences, and identify good practices. Towards this end, survey is conducted to gather information on good practices in countries and encompass a diversity of challenges and policy experiences as a call for action to promote policy change.
