Executive Director made a presentation on “An Economist’s Perspective on the Current Interest and Exchange Rates: Impact on the Economy” at a seminar on “Interest and Exchange Rates: Impact on the Economy” organized by the Society of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka at the Taj Samudra Hotel on 6 September, 2007.
The session was chaired by Dr. H.N. Tenuwara, Assistant Governor, Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Dr. Harsha De Silva, Lead Economist, LIRNE Asia, and R.M.B. Senanayake, popular columnist on economic affairs, were the other speakers at the Session.
