Executive Director made a presentation on “WTO Trade in Services Negotiations: Current State of Play and Implications for Developing Countries” and Chaired the Sessions on “NAMA: Key Issues in Negotiations” and “Country Interventions on the WTO Post-Bali Agenda” at the Regional Workshop on “WTO and the Post-Bali Programme for Asia” organized by the SANEM, Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute, African Ex-IM Bank, Commonwealth Secretariat, and the Centre for WTO Studies, Delhi. Around 40 participants from various Asian countries participated at the Regional Workshop.

Executive Director was invited to SANEM by his counterpart to interact with the staff of SANEM during his visit to Dhaka where he shared some of the issues relevant for research institutes’ cooperation in South Asia.
