Regional State-of-the-Art Papers on Educational Technology

This study will develop a series of regional reports on EdTech initiatives across countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). It aims to contribute to the preparation of a Global state-of-the-art review that will incorporate the broader global literature on Ed-Tech. The primary focus of the research is to analyse the impacts of EdTech on primary and secondary educational achievements, initiatives introduced during COVID-19, barriers to implementing EdTech initiatives in the developing world, and successful examples of implementation. The study will conduct an in-depth analysis of selected countries in each region through the review of existing literature, primary data collection using a Google Survey and key informant interviews (KIIs), collaborations with regional partners and multiple case study analyses per selected country.
