Publication Handover: Re-Defining Urbanization in Sri Lanka

IPS Research Fellow, Bilesha Weeraratne, handed over a copy of the recent IPS Publication “Re-Defining Urban Areas in Sri Lanka”, to Hon. Patali Champaka Ranawaka, Minister of Megapolis and Western Region Development at his office in Colombo, on August 19, 2016. The study makes an important contribution to Sri Lanka’s policy and legislative arena to revise the existing definition of urbanization.
