IPS undertook a country study (Sri Lanka) to assess the national level institutional arrangements that already exists for SDG implementation; analyze the priorities and sectoral primacy accorded to the SDGs; evaluate the stakeholders involved in the implementation and monitoring of the health related SDGs in the country; highlight the role of health policy research institutions play with respect to SDGs.
This study was conducted in each of the seven South Asian countries: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
