Jayatilleke S Bandara is a Professor in the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics at Griffith University in Brisbane. His research interests include input-output modelling, computable general equilibrium (CGE) modelling and tourism with a special focus on Sri Lanka. Dr Bandara is an internationally known researcher in the field of CGE modelling. The outcomes of his research based on CGE modelling and tourism have been published in internationally reputed journals like Economic Modelling, Environmental Modelling and Software, Journal of Policy Modelling, the World Economy, the World Development and Tourism Analysis. Some of his research projects have been funded by the Australian Research Council, the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research, AusAID. He has served as a consultant to the World Bank, ILO, ADB and the UNESCAP.
