Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Workshop

IPS Research Fellow, Janaka Wijayasiri, attended a three-day workshop on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) from 18 – 20 July 2017. The workshop was organized by Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI), Pakistan, in collaboration with International Development Research Centre (IDRC), in Bangkok, Thailand, at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC).

The training aimed at building capacity  of think tanks and research organizations to measure results and impact of projects, and to incorporate learnings from new projects. The event was attended by technical experts, speakers, and participants from other think tanks and policy institutions in South Asia and beyond.

The organizers dedicated the workshop to the memory of Dr. Saman Kelegama, who was a key pillar of Think Tank Initiative (TTI) community and contributed to its sustainability.
