Launch of Book on “Contemporary Economic Issues: Sri Lanka in the Global Context”, Published by the Sri Lanka Economic Association (SLEA), OPA Auditorium, Colombo

A book authored by the Executive Director based on a compilation of 40 essays which he wrote to theSunday Island during 2005-06 was launched recently. A review of the book was made by Nimal Sanderatne, Honarary Fellow, SLEA, at the launch ceremony which was organized by the SLEA at the OPA Auditorium, Colombo.

Dr. Kelegama handed over a copy of the book to the Chief Guest at the launch, Hon. Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs.

The book covers an important period (2005-2006) where a number of domestic and global events influenced the Sri Lankan economy at regular intervals. The 40 essays in this volume cover these contemporary issues and many more. (PDF Format 277kb)
