Janaka Wijayasiri Participates at Fourth Meeting of the BIMSTEC Network of Policy Think Tanks

IPS Research Fellow, Janaka Wijayasiri, attended the fourth meeting of the BIMSTEC Network of Policy Think Tanks, organised by the Royal Government of Bhutan and the Royal Institute of Governance and Strategic Studies (RIGSS).

The meeting discussed activities undertaken by the respective seven institutions since the last meeting in 2017, implementation of decisions undertaken to promote people to people contact, funding mechanism for BNPTT, discussions on the fourth BIMSTEC Summit Declarations, and new initiatives to advance regional cooperation within the BIMSTEC region.
