iPURSE 2016 – the Annual International Research Sessions- University of Peradeniya

IPS Executive Director, Dr. Saman Kelegama Delivered the keynote address at iPURS 2016, the Annual International Research Sessions of the University of Peradeniya, hosted by the Faculty of Dental Sciences held on 4th and 5th November 2016.  The event was held under the theme “Towards Building a Sustainable Future”, with the aim of  providing an open forum for researchers from different disciplines to deliberate on their research findings, exchange ideas, build partnerships and collaborations for the advancement of knowledge. Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Kelegama provided a brief overview of the origins and evolution of the sustainable development movement, and perspectives regarding the future of the movement, on an international and national scale.
