International Symposium on Energy Challenges in the Knowledge Economy

IPS Research Economist, Kanchana Wickramasinghe made a presentation on “Energy Management in Hotel Sector in Sri Lanka: Adoption of Good Practices”, at the International Symposium on Energy Challenges in the Knowledge Economy held from 26^th to 27^thJune in Colombo.  The Symposium aimed to provide a forum for local and invited foreign experts in the field to discuss, debate and share futuristic knowledge relevant to the energy related challenges that the nation is facing in the evolving economy.  It was inaugurated by Dr. Abdul Kalam, Former President of India.
