Interim Budget Highlights 2015: Tax Proposals & Impact on Business – Taj Samudra Hotel

IPS Executive Director, Dr. Saman Kelegama, was among the panellists at a recently held seminar on the new Government’s Interim Budget’s Tax Proposals and Impact on Business. The event saw key insights shared by two separate panels dealing with a wide range of issues. It was organized by the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA). The key note speaker at the event was Minister of Finance and Planning, Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, while the panel discussions were conducted with the participation of senior government officials, business leaders, academics and experts from the sectors of taxation, business, power and energy, transport and highways, telecommunication, stock market, tourism, banking and finance, agriculture, salaries and wages.
