High-level symposium on achieving Sustainable Development Goals – Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo

IPS Executive Director, Dr. Saman Kelegama was a panellist at a high-level symposium on achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, organized by the UNDP in Colombo. The panel discussion focused on Leveraging Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships for Sustainable Prosperity.

The event was held under the patronage of Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, United Nations Under Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of United Nations ESCAP The inaugural session of the symposium was also graced by Hon. Dr Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Special Projects, Hon. Gamini Jayawickrama Perera, Minister of Sustainable Development and Wildlife and Una McCauley, UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative.
