The Global Competitiveness Report is an annual publication by the World Economic Forum (WEF). The report assesses institutions, policies, and other macro and microeconomic fundamentals that affect a country’s economic productivity and efficiency. The final index is a composite of twelve thematic areas: institutions, infrastructure, ICT adoption, macroeconomic stability, health, skills, product market, labour market, the financial system, market size, business dynamism, and innovation capability.
Since 2012, the IPS has partnered with the project, providing policy analysis and conducting an annual executive opinion survey to contribute to the development of the index.
