‘An Evaluation of the Implementation of Guidelines in School Canteens’, Ministry of Educational Services

A dissemination meeting on a study conducted by IPS, titled ‘An Evaluation of the Implementation of Guidelines in School Canteens’, was presented to the Secretary Mr. Anura Dissanayake, Ministry of Education on 15^th December 2014. The findings were presented by Dr. Manuj C Weerasinghe, Specialist in Public Health, Honorary Fellow, IPS.  Samanthi Bandara, Research Officer Health Economic Policy Unit and Dr. Munsif Sanoon, Project Officer, IPS were team members of the survey.  Senior Secretaries of the Ministry of Education, National Coordinator for Nutrition at the President’s Secretariat, Consultant Community Physician, Family Health Bureau, Director, Nutrition Coordination Division, Ministry of Healthcare & Nutrition were also present at this meeting.
