Dr. Manoj Thibbotuwawa and Dr. Erandathie Pathiraja Serve as Judges in the 26th Annual Symposium of the Department of Agriculture (ASDA)

IPS Research Fellows Manoj Thibbotuwawa and Erandathie Pathiraja served as judges at the 26th Annual Symposium of the Department of Agriculture (ASDA) held on 13 September 2024, at the In-Service Training Institute in Gannoruwa, Peradeniya.

ASDA is Sri Lanka’s largest annual forum for agricultural professionals, providing a platform for scientists from various divisions of the Department of Agriculture (DOA) and Provincial DOAs to discuss and develop solutions for the challenges facing the nation’s agricultural development, all aimed at achieving agricultural excellence. The symposium also serves as a scientific forum for experts from the agricultural sector, including university academia, public and commercial sector scientists, International Non-Governmental Organisations (INGOs), Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), and farmer group members, to exchange ideas and address issues related to the agricultural sector.
