Crucial to Develop Children’s Social and Emotional Intelligence – Dr Nisha Arunatilake

IPS’ Dr Nisha Arunatilake spoke on the importance of developing the social emotional intelligence of children at launch of the ‘Tilly App’ organised by the Dialog Foundation on International Children’s Day. Tilli is an app for developing children’s social emotional intelligence through a game. At the launch, Dr Arunatilake emphasised that such skills were important not only as a tool for dealing with adverse situations children may encounter in their childhood, but also for developing their critical thinking, teamwork, and other soft skills to help them be successful in their future work lives.
