Executive Director made a presentation on the “Global Economic Crisis and its Impact on Asia” and chaired a session on “Food Security in Asia” at the 2nd Asia Media Conference (http://www.theasiamediaforum.org/node/1044) on the theme: “Media in the Time of Crisis” held in Bangkok, Thailand, during 25-27 March, 2009. The conference was organized by the Asia Media Forum, a unique network and platform of media practitioners across Asia, and discussed the implications and impacts of the ongoing crises in the economy, environment, food and governance on the media and vice versa.
