The 11th Edition of the Talking Economics Digest features the theme “IPS, 25 Years On…”, reflecting the Institute’s journey of over two decades.
The Institute which was set up to provide independent economic research for policy makers has not only established itself as the foremost think tank in the country but has garnered recognition in the region for its high quality research. The Institute has now set itself the vision to increase its visibility and influence globally in the future. IPS has expanded as an organization in terms of staff, research and activities over time whilst becoming financially independent. The articles in this Digest are a compilation of articles published over the last six months of 2015, which reflects the broad 6 themes in economic research which the Institute has built up over time and currently focuses on.
