Research Staff

The IPS research programme is carried out by an experienced team of highly qualified and trained senior researchers and academics recognized for their contributions to the country's economic policy analysis and debate. The senior research staff is assisted by a dynamic group of junior researchers with demonstrated academic excellence selected from both local and international universities. The research staff comprise of Senior Visiting Fellows, Research Fellows, Research Economists, Research Officers, and Research Assistants.

A system of Professorial Fellowship exists to attract international experts working on economic policy in Sri Lanka to provide additional guidance and leadership to research staff. The Institute also offers training for undergraduates from local and international universities through a Project Internship programme. Currently, links are being built with the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka to enhance this programme.
