This report sets out to examine the prospects of the Sri Lankan textiles and garment sector over the decade 1996-2005. Over this period, the Multi-Fibre Arrangement (MFA) was due to be phased out. The main objective of the publication is to look at the prospects of the Sri Lankan industry in the light of the phasing-out of the MFA quotas.
