Two Founder Governing Board members of the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS)., viz Dr. Godfrey Gunatilleke and Prof. Budhadasa Hewavitarana were honoured recently by the Sahabdeen Award and Honorary Fellow title (Sri Lanka Economic Association), respectively.
The IPS organized a felicitation event to honour the two members at the IPS premises, on 26 July, 2005 amidst a gathering of IPS staff members and well wishers. The felicitation was followed by a cocktail.
