Overview of Education Budgeting and Resource Allocation Processes in Sri Lanka

This study looks at how the education budget is decided for national and provincial schools in the country. The decision making process, in this regard, at the school, divisional, zonal, provincial and national levels are detailed. The study also examines how budget estimates are made at the centre and how actual budgets are disbursed.
