IPS MISSION

The Institute's mission is to contribute to the economic development of a democratic Sri Lanka and enhance the quality of life of its people by informing policy-makers and contributing to the public debate through timely, independent, and high quality research-based analysis of medium and long-term national policy issues.

 

INSTITUTIONAL GOALS

To engage in dialogue with policy makers in the government, labour, donor, business, and research communities and provide a forum for the discussion, exchange, and assessment of views amongst stakeholders.

To strengthen the national capacity for medium and long-term economic policy analysis by investing in the capabilities of its staff and the Institute's knowledge base.
