Fellowship Programme on “Advanced Training Course on Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer and Licensing”

IPS Research Officer, Dilani Hirimuthugodage, participated at a Fellowship Programme on “Advanced Training Course on Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer and Licensing” organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) of the University of Strasbourg and the French National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) from 12 June to 23 June 2017 in Strasbourg, France.

The fellowship programme focused on the legal and economic aspects of technology transfer and licensing. Conceptual, Economic and Policy Aspects of Technology Transfer, Technology Transfer and Agriculture and Intellectual Property Management in Traditional Medicinal Knowledge were some of the main topics that were discussed during the programme.

A group of technology transfer professionals, including professionals working in university technology transfer offices, researchers, national and regional intellectual property offices and science and technology ministries, lawyers and economists around the world participated at the programme.
